Gujranwala electric power company GEPCO ,a leading public electric utility company, endeavoring to provide uninterrupted electric supply to more than 3.7 million valued consumer with more than 17000 employees is seeking the service of in experienced dynamic,high caliber and results oriented professionals to work as chief  security and surveillance officer as part of its senior executive team who can undertake the challenging assignment effectively.

POSITION: Chief security & surveillance officer

AGE limit: 55 years

Qualification Experience:

The candidate should be a retired officer of the rank of lieutenant colonel colonel or equivalent of armed forces and other law enforcement agencies in management science will be preferred.

•. Proven track  record of leading from the front, verifiable intelligence and vigilance experience and maintain strong  bonding with the man under his command

OTHER SKILLS

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, management and presentation skills

•To have an eye  for detail and a vision for introducing digital technology in the organisation security system. 

•strong leadership, conflict resolution skills with an instinct to pre-empt security breaches.

Reporting channel:

Chief security and surveillance officer will report to chief executive officer GEPCO or any other designated officer.

Job profile: 

•To ensure security of all GEPCO properties, assets and installations including grid stations and transmission lines.

•to liaison with all local security law enforcement agencies.

•To ensure effective vigilance against pilferage, corruption as well any brewing admin issues.

•To lead all admin functions related to GEPCO.

•To ensure impart Relevant training skills to the security staff under his command.

POSITION: Chief Health safety and environment officer

Upper age limit:

55 years at the time of application

Qualification Experience:

•BS Degree in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in an HSE leadership role, preferably in a power utility organization.

•MS Degree in Electrical Engineering with 8 + years of experience in an HSE leadership role preferably in a power utility organization.

• ISO  14001 or OHSAS 18001 lead auditor or NEBOSHIOSH certificate or any other certification of Health safety and environment HSE be shall be considered additional qualification.

 

JOB PROFILE

Chief Health safety and environment officer shall important and   maintain an environmental , health and safety program Involving hazardous identification evaluation and control, accident injury prevention, hazardous material waste management, emergency fire safety and environmental regulatory compliance:-

•provide HSE leadership, training and operational sport to all levels of the GEPCO organisation.

•put in place an effective HSE management system and ensure all HSE processes and procedures are implemented.

•Conduct HSE safety regular Audit and ensure implementation of remedial measures.

•Monitor and ensure effective and timely provision of redressal to HSE safety related complaints.

•Conduct and oversee all aspects of incident investigation including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

•formula and implement an effective fire prevention system.

•Ensure emergency response system to manage HSE related emergencies.

Ensure compliance with all national , prevention laws and NEPRA codes related to HSE.

•Organize all necessary training and licensing requirement.

•Any other relevant duties assigned.

REPORTING CHANNEL: 

Chief health safety and environment officer will report to the chief executive officer GEPCO.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

 1) pay and allowance market-based competitive package.

2) Tenure : the appointment will be made on contract basis initially  for a period of three years extendable satisfactory performance by the board of director GEPCO.
