📢 Big News for Students in Punjab!
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has re-launched the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025 to help deserving students continue their education with digital access. The government aims to distribute 100,000 free laptops across Punjab in phases — targeting students in colleges, universities, and technical institutes.
This scheme is a major step under the “Digital Punjab Vision 2025”, aiming to empower youth with technology.
🎯 What Is the CM Laptop Scheme?
The scheme provides:
Free laptops to meritorious students
Focus on public colleges & universities
Priority for female, differently-abled, and remote-area students
Distribution via transparent e-criteria system
Application Date
Expected Start Date: August 2025
Last Date to Apply: Will be announced soon
Scheme Phase: First phase covers 100,000 laptops
✅ Eligibility Criteria
To apply, students must:
Be a Punjab domicile holder
Be enrolled in a public college or university
Have secured at least 60% marks in the latest exams
Be a regular student (not distance learning)
Not have received a laptop previously
🎓 Priority is given to:
Top academic performers
Students in underdeveloped districts
Female students
Disabled students

Follow these steps once the portal opens:
1. Go to: https://laptop.pmyp.gov.pk (portal under development)
2. Register your profile with CNIC & email
3. Fill the online form with academic & contact details
4. Upload required documents
5. Submit the application
6. Track status on the dashboard
7. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via SMS/Email
