 اٹک کی ضلعی انتظامیہ نے ایندھن کی بڑھتی ہوئی قیمتوں کے درمیان ریلیف فراہم کرنے کے لیے 22 بسوں کے بیڑے کو تعینات کرتے ہوئے سات انٹر سٹی روٹس پر مفت کمرشل ٹرانسپورٹ سروس کا آغاز کیا ہے۔

 رکن قومی اسمبلی شیخ آفتاب احمد نے جنرل بس سٹینڈ پر سروس کا افتتاح کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ایران اور امریکہ کے درمیان عالمی کشیدگی کے باعث پٹرولیم کی بڑھتی ہوئی قیمتوں نے پاکستان میں مسافروں کو کافی متاثر کیا ہے۔

 اس اقدام کے تحت متعدد راستوں کا احاطہ کیا گیا ہے، جن میں اٹک-حسن ابدال، اٹک-حضرو، اٹک-فتح جنگ، فتح جنگ-پنڈیگھیب، حسن ابدال-فتحجنگ، پنڈیگھیب-جنڈ، اور فتح جنگ-جنڈ شامل ہیں۔

 اس سروس کا مقصد عوام کے لیے محفوظ، آرام دہ اور مکمل طور پر مفت سفر کو یقینی بنانا ہے۔

 عہدیداروں نے کہا کہ ٹرانسپورٹ کے لیے ٹارگٹڈ سبسڈی کرایوں میں اضافے کو روکنے اور ڈیزل کی بڑھتی ہوئی قیمتوں سے منسلک مہنگائی کو کنٹرول کرنے کے لیے بنائی گئی ہے۔

 توقع ہے کہ اس اقدام سے خاص طور پر کم اور مقررہ آمدنی والے خاندانوں کو فائدہ پہنچے گا جنہیں نقل و حمل کے بڑھتے ہوئے اخراجات کا سامنا ہے۔
